ADELIE LAND

Adelie Land is a French dependent territory in Antarctica. The only base currently in use is:

Dumont d'Urville. Population at this station can rise up to 78 in summer but generally stays around 33. So far, no mention of football activity on this station but being french, football or rugby might be played here at some point.

ILE AMSTERDAM/ SAINT PAUL

Martin-de-Vivies research station has 30 transient population of scientists and researchers. To date, they have not played any competitive soccer.

CROZET ISLANDS

Ile de la Possession has the only inhabited station, Alfred Faure, with 18-30 people at a given time. No soccer activity there. The other islands, Cochons,Pingouins,Apotres,l'Est do not have any population.

ILES ESPARSES

Most of these islands are actually in the southern Indian Ocean. Tromelin,Bassas da India, Europa, Glorioso and Juan de Nova. None of the stations on these islands have populations greater than 20. No soccer reported.

KERGUELEN ISLANDS

With a maximum population reaching 110 in summer, there possibly have been kickabout soccer on these islands. Grand Terre is the main island.
